ART CAMP: Summer Program Facilitator

Facilitate full day art camps for ages 4-12.
Each week has a theme and all classes are designed for open-ended exploration
and discovery through introduction to a range of materials and techniques.
The ideal candidate has experience working with and facilitating art activities with this age group;
a solid knowledge of child development and art materials;
an ability to plan and implement a fun-filled day with art activities and games;
experience and willingness working with children of all abilities;
strong communication skills; and is filled with positivity, creativity, passion and
fun to share with the campers and volunteers.
Hours: 35 hrs / week (Camps run 9am-3pm)
Compensation: $12-$15 Depending on Experience
Camp Dates/Titles
Week 1: 3D ART June 18th-22nd
Week 2: PAINTING EXPLORATION June 25th-29th
Week 3: ART + OUR FAVORITE BOOKS July 9th-13th
Week 4: GET OUTSIDE July 16th-20th
Week 5: MASTER STYLE July 23rd-27th
Week 6: NATURE + ART July 30th-August 3rd
Week 7: CLAY EXPLORATION August 6th-10th
Week 8: DIY ART SUPPLIES August 13th-17th
Week 9: RECYCLE, REUSE, REPURPOSE August 20th-24th
Week 10: WEARABLE ART August 27th-31st

Birthday Party Facilitator 

Looking for fun, creative facilitators for weekend Birthday Art Parties at Base Camp Studio.
The ideal candidate:
•Likes to create a fun party atmosphere
•Loves to make art with kids
•Can manage a large group (of kids & parents )
•Is available on weekends 
•Enjoys working with a variety of art materials
•Understands how to facilitate open-ended art experiences
•Supports the mission and values of Base Camp Studio

Facilitator Sub Pool

Looking for Substitute Facilitators for Creativity Labs, Art Classes, Open Studios and Summer Camps.
The ideal candidate is:
• Available on-call for morning, after school, evening or weekend facilitator coverage
• Someone who enjoys making art with people
Positive, creative, energetic, reliable and kind
• Experienced facilitating open-ended art experiences
• Excited to support the mission and values of Base Camp Studio
• Passionate about Art and Community
• Knowledgeable and comfortable with a variety of art materials
• Self-directed with good problem solving skills
• An effective Communicator
